LuxConnect is proud to have contributed to enhancing public safety in Differdange through the successful completion of the Visupol project – a centralized video surveillance system now managed by the local police.
As part of this Dark Fiber initiative, LuxConnect provided consultancy services to identify the city’s security needs in close collaboration with the Differdange Police, planned network redundancy, and supported coordination with the local authorities.
Throughout the project, LuxConnect worked closely with its long-standing partner Cogecab to ensure the smooth installation of the connections. The solution was designed, implemented, and thoroughly tested to meet the operational expectations of both the city and the police.
Today, the project has been handed over, and both Differdange and the police are fully autonomous in managing their Visupol system. The city oversees the network infrastructure, while the police handle video monitoring operations.
By sharing its expertise in connectivity, redundancy, and infrastructure, LuxConnect once again demonstrated its commitment to building secure, reliable, and future-ready digital solutions for Luxembourg’s communities.
