Recently, LuxConnect provided and installed Optical Fiber at Rockhal, where the Luxembourg Song Contest will take place this Saturday, January 27th. Indeed, For the contest to be broadcast on RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg and on digital platforms, the TV channel had to connect the physical competition site to the Optical Fiber network.
Ever since its establishment, LuxConnect has implemented an Optical Fiber network covering the entire country. Collaborating with various infrastructure providers, the company aims to minimize installation expenses and enhance deployment velocity — a groundbreaking approach in infrastructure implementation. In total, around 1,800 km of optic fiber had been installed and documented over the country up to now.
LuxConnect is proud to provide this high-level service to help promote Luxembourg’s historic return to this famous competition after a 31-year absence. In doing so, we are contributing to the country’s international reputation on the cultural scene, while supporting RTL Luxembourg, our client and the country’s leading public and commercial television channel.
