We are looking for a Communications Officer to join our team. The Communications Officer will support our internal and external communications strategy, manage social media accounts and the official website, write and disseminate publicity material, respond to inquiries from the public and media, and coordinate promotional events.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement strategic communication initiatives on all appropriate media channels to increase the visibility and understanding of the company’s vision and purpose.
- Anticipate reputational risk issues and develop and implement appropriate communication actions.
- Proactively cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders that will promote the work and the reputation of the company.
- Support the management in emergency disaster management communication.
- Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all communication, including promotional materials and events.
- Develop, promote, and communicate the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program that supports employee engagement, strengthen the employee value proposition, enhance the company’s overall reputation while bridging community and business goals to drive impact and gain external visibility.
- Organise and realise company’s internal and external events.
- Write, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, website content, annual reports, speeches, and other marketing material that communicates the organization's activities and services.
- Manage Website & publish content.
- Manage social media accounts of the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or any related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years' relevant experience in a communications role.
- Knowledge of desktop publishing software (InDesign/Photoshop).
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems, and social media platforms.
- Excellent writing skills and fluent in English and French.
