LuxConnect is a private company owned by the Luxembourg State. Founded in 2006, LuxConnect operates three TIER IV design data centers and operates its own optical fiber backbone throughout Luxembourg. As of today, the rolled out fiber network encompasses 600 km of fiber, connecting all commercial data centers in Luxembourg redundantly, and, gives operators a choice of more than 6 country outbreaks to interconnect to and from Luxembourg.
A connectivity service to Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt and Paris also counts to the portfolio of LuxConnect services. The newest available route being Frankfurt to Paris in an almost straight line.
LuxConnect acts as a facilitator and incubator in the ICT industry and has been instrumental in the creation of LU-CIX and LuxCloud.
Being headquartered in Luxembourg, LuxConnect operates as a wholesaler and has its services offered through various partners.
